Luxury Château Holiday Accommodation in Lot-et-Garonne

Tucked away in the heart of Gascony, Château Hordosse is bordered by the rivers Osse and Gelise, and sits at the very edge of the Forêt des Landes. Home to the Obrien family, this magnificent building dates as far back as the 13th century. Its name, “Hordosse” means literally Fort of the Osse.

On approaching the château via the private driveway, you are first greeted by the 15th century tower, which was part of the original 13th century fortifications.

Adjoining this is the more classic French château built in the early 18th century. Spanning three floors, it contains high ceilings and vast fireplaces.

The château is situated in the centre of its own land stretching to 11 hectares. This terrain consists of rivers, woodlands and open spaces, providing much opportunity for relaxation and exploration.
